Nick Thurston of Information as Material

November 2, 2008, 2pm / Fillip is pleased to present a talk by UK-based artist, writer, performer, and publisher Nick Thurston on Sunday, November 2, at 2 pm, at the Fillip office, 305 Cambie Street, Vancouver. Nick will be bringing a select archive of publications as a usable reading room and discuss the broader conceptual and formal concerns of some of those projects. In addition, he will introduce information as material’s editorial interests and explore the notion of “editorship through curating.” This talk will be a fairly informal event, primed for first-hand reading, as well as an open forum for Q&A.
