Tamsin Dillon: Making Space
July 1, 2010 / Tamsin Dillon presents the history and recent work of the Art on the Underground programme, an art series produced by the London Underground. Notable projects include work by Barbara Kruger, John Gerrard, and Jeremy Deller.
This talk was originally presented on March 27, 2010, as part of Making Space, a conference on art, culture, and publics organized by the Vancouver Art Gallery.
Tamsin Dillon is currently Head of Art on the Underground, the art programme for London Underground. Over a number of years she has commissioned and presented contemporary art exhibitions, projects, and publications across a range of contexts. Tamsin was Curator at Chisenhale Gallery 2000 to 2002 and has also worked in a number of galleries and other contexts including Whitechapel Gallery, London, Capp Street Project, San Francisco, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Norbury Park in Surrey.
